How Beefy Works

When you deposit funds into a Beefy vault, your assets are deployed into one of our yield strategies. These strategies interact with external DeFi protocols to generate returns — such as providing liquidity, lending assets, or farming rewards.

Instead of manually claiming and reinvesting rewards (which costs gas fees and time), Beefy automatically harvests those rewards and compounds them back into your position. This process happens multiple times per day, helping your yield grow faster than manual compounding ever could.

The BIFI Token

BIFI is the native governance token of the Beefy protocol. BIFI holders can participate in protocol governance through the Beefy DAO, voting on proposals that shape the future direction of the platform.

Additionally, BIFI stakers receive a share of the protocol's revenue. A portion of all performance fees collected by Beefy vaults is distributed to BIFI stakers, aligning the incentives of token holders with the health of the overall protocol.

The maximum supply of BIFI is capped, making it a deflationary asset over time as buybacks occur regularly from protocol revenues.

Security & Audits

Security is the top priority at Beefy. Every strategy and smart contract deployed on the platform has been reviewed by the Beefy core team and, where applicable, audited by leading third-party security firms.
